This German Mauser shows an 1887 production date from Spandau arsenal. All numbers match including the rear sight and bolt. The metal retains 90% blue with scatted freckling. The buttplate is unit marked "35 RE/1.122." Nice clear marks on the stock. Bright, excellent bore. Needs a good exterior cleaning and you will have a nice example of an early Mauser. Antique
