A brass frame and barrel with small parts or steel and checkered wood grips. No maker's name. The only marks are a letter "V" on the barrel lug and left rear frame. .25 mm caliber with a 4" octagon to round barrel. The brass metal has been cleaned. The action is tight. Probably a French manufactured and issued flare gun from WWI. Antique. $10 shipping Lower 48.
