  • Description: This is a Weyersberg-made bayonet (for the Model 1867 Rolling Block Rifle) and measures 26 11/16” overall with a 21 5/8” yataghan blade having wide single fullers. The blade has a mostly armory bright finish with specks of mild surface freckling throughout, and has the “GEBR. WEYERSBERG / SOLINGEN” mark on the ricasso reverse. The iron crossguard has a single hooked quillon, muzzle-ring, and has a darker gray-brown freckled patina. The steel hilt has a matching patina with scattered small impact marks, and moderate-heavy wear on the checkered leather grips. The scabbard has freckling on the steel chapes, and the leather body is in very good shape with some light flaking and surface scuffs. This is a nice example of a Danish Rolling Block bayonet, and rates good-very good condition overall.
